Loyalty is really important in a friendship because friendship is mainly made of out of loyalty and that’s what makes a friend. Being friends with somebody is showing allegiance to that person and supporting him/her. There are times when a friend is always there when you need them; for example the time when I was around 8 years old and I was being picked on at school my friend came to my aid and helped me. That was an act of loyalty because he backed me up. But not all friends are always there when you need them, for example when you need help from a friend and you ask for help he would come up with an excuse and not even care at all. That would be disloyal to a friend because that person did not help him out.
